Nous nous sommes baladés à East
Village lors de notre dernière soirée à New York. En arrivant là
bas, j'ai pensé à Taxi Driver, et en écrivant cet article, Google
being my friend, je me suis rendue compte que l'appartement d'Iris
est à deux pas... Bref, nous y avons passé une super soirée, avons
découvert de super disquaires, un super bar dont je parlerais dès
que j'aurais récupéré les photos de mon partner-photographe parce
que j'avais trop froid pour les prendre moi-même (si tu me lis
d'ailleurs, chéri, ça serait bien que tu me les montres). Et en
nous baladant, nous avons trouvé cette cantine qui vaut vraiment le
east-détour: ramen exquises et gyoza au top à l'honneur. Inutile de
vous parler du décor d'alors, car l'adresse a déménagé le mois
dernier du numéro 218 au numéro 214, mais je suis sure que le
savoir faire de ces nouilleurs (oui, des nouilleurs) est loin d'en
avoir pâti, vous me raconterez! Enjoy!
We had a earlier-in-the-evening walk in
East Village during our last journey to NYC. When i got there, i
thought of Taxi Driver, and while writing this review, Google being
my friend, i realise that Iris's appartment is just two streets away!
Anyway, we had a wonderful evening there, visiting very nice record
stores, a wondeful bar that i'll mention later, as soon as i'll get
my partner-photographer's pics because i was far too cold to grab my camera
(if you read me, honey, would be great if i could see these pics!).
And when we were visiting this amazing area, we found this little
canteen, that makes this east-detour a worth-seeing one: exquisite
ramen and yummy gyoza are the top of the bill. You don't need to read
about the colour of the walls, the plants and the size of the place
for i just found out that the restaurant moved from number 218 to
number 214. But i'm pretty sure that these noodlemen have kept and
improved their savoir-faire. You'll tell me, won't you? Enjoy!
