Ce petit stand au coeur du marché bio Raspail propose aussi des cakes salés, sucrés, un chocolat chaud à l'ancienne ou un espresso, grâce au percolateur qui trône derrière l'étal. Le service est adorable et bilingue.

Ton muffin au couteau tu ne découperas pas, mais avec une fourchette il se détachera
Au grill tu le doreras, avec du beurre salé tu le tartineras
Au frigo tu le conserveras, toute la semaine tu en disposeras
Vous pourrez les déguster avec par exemple un beurre salé de qualité, une confiture maison, du miel crémeux. En version salée, il sera délicieux avec une touche de beurre, une tranche de saumon fumé, un zeste de citron, une cuillère de crème fraîche, et du poivre du moulin.

This little stand in the heart of the Marché bio (organic) Raspail also sells savoury or sweet cakes, hot home made chocolate and even real espressi thanks to the real percolator they bring for your caffeine needs. The girls behind the counter are adorable and english is completely spoken (I understand that the baker husband is american).
Three rules to ensure an optimal muffins dégustation:
Your muffin with a knife thou shall not cut, but with a fork thou shall open
Under the grill thou shall toast it, salty butter thou shall spread
In the fridge thou shall keep it, one full week thou shall use it
You can have it for example with a quality butter, home made jam or creamy honey. For a savoury version, just try a hint of butter, a slice of smoked salmon, a splash of lemon juice and a teaspoon of cream. And of course, pepper from the mill.
